How do I create an account?

Open the WEconnect app. Read and accept the Terms & Conditions. In order to use WEconnect, we need to know a little about you. Fill in your profile information and add and save the following at minimum. One Support Routine, one Clarity Routine and two Connections.

How do I cancel my account?

You can logout of your account by going to Settings > Log Out. You can also can delete the WEconnect app from your mobile device through your mobile device settings.

How do I update my account information?

Go to Settings > Profile Information

What if I experience issues with my ID or passcode?

Try logging out and logging back in to see if that fixes the issue. You can Log Out in Settings. You can change your password in Settings > Change Password. If you continue to have issues you can contact supersupport@palalinq.com.

How do I change my passcode?

Go to Settings > Change Passcode

How do I recover my password or email address?

Contact supersupport@palalinq.com. You can only change your password if you remember your old password. You can change your email address at any time under Settings > Profile Information.

Can anyone use the WEconnect app?

Currently WEconnect is only available for individuals aged 18 years or older. By using or accessing the services, you are affirming you are aged 18 or older.

What if I don't have an email address?

You need to fill in an email address to set up an account. You can create a free email address from many sources online such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Outlook.com, and AOL Mail . If you need assistance with this you can contact supersupport@palalinq.com.

Do I have to use my real name?

No, but the first and last name categories cannot be left blank to create an account.

Do I have to list my birthday?

You don’t have to list your real birthday but the birthday category cannot be left blank to create an account.

How does the GPS tracking work?

We use the standard GPS receiver in the mobile device to receive global positions from the satellites and utilize nearby cell towers and WiFi routers to pinpoint a device’s location. This is a standard method across many smartphone applications.

How secure is my information?

WEconnect is Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant to ensure your privacy security. You can learn more about your HIPAA rights by clicking on this link http://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/for-individuals/guidance-materials-for-consumers/.

Who can see my information?

Your contacts will be notified if you do not complete at least 70% of your daily activities with a simple text message saying for example “It has been 3 days since Daniela last contacted you. It might be a good time to connect and say hello.” No account or personal information will be shared. By using WEconnect you give pala-linq permission to use any content submitted by you to the Services (“User Submissions”) and generated through your use of an Application (“User Content”) to administer, maintain, update, improve, test, access and use the Services. What if I want to report a suspicious text, email or fraud?

If you believe your password or account security has been compromised contact privacy@palalinq.com

Can I block people?

You can remove Connections by going to Contacts > Selecting the contact you want to remove > Selecting the garbage icon in the top right corner > Confirm Delete

What if I want to chat with WEconnect?

On the WEconnect app go to Settings > Support, to send an email to the WEconnect support team.

How can I write a product review?

We want to know your thoughts. Please send an email to supersupport@palalinq.com.

How do I redeem my points?

As soon as you have earned enough points, you’ll see an option to redeem your reward in the points section of the WEconnect mobile app.

Can I share my points with someone else?

Your points are just for you, but you are welcome (and encouraged) to share your reward with friends, family or someone else in need!

What happens if I relapse?

Connect with your support system. Reach out to the WEconnect team for support at supersupport@palalinq.com. If you fear for your immediate safety call your doctor or 911. At any time you can hit the SOS button on the WEconnect app to send the following message to all of your connections “Looking for some extra support. Please reach out to me. Thanks!” When you are ready to use WEconnect to continue your journey go to Settings > Profile Information > Sobriety Birthday and reset your Sobriety Birthday. This is will appear on your dashboard as your Days in Recovery.

What happens if I stop checking in to the routines?

You will receive personal text notifications reminding you that you have missed some activities and reminding you to check in. Your contacts will be notified if you do not complete at least 70% of your daily activities with a simple text message saying for example “It has been 3 days since Daniela last contacted you. It might be a good time to connect and say hello.”

At any time you can hit the SOS button on the WEconnect app to send the following message to all of your connections “Looking for some extra support. Please reach out to me.
